You can contact us to have your materials characterized for all the properties that are important to you. Whether it concerns the determination of instantaneous properties or behavior after aging, for example in UV, oil, water/glycol, air and other chemicals.
During the characterization of materials, we determine with the aid of test bars and pictures (samples) how a material behaves under conditions relevant to the end application. Usually specifications are defined for this.
But if these do not yet exist (for example when plastic is used for the first time in typical metal applications), we can support you in deriving them.
With the above information, the behavior of the material in the application can be quantified and predicted how the application will behave at the end of its intended lifecycle. This is of course a very important fact during the design process.
We can also characterize the rheological behavior of materials and process them in data maps for use in injection molding software. So that all process-related challenges can be evaluated early on.
